I am a happily married, nature loving, camping, tree hugging, dirt worshiper. Attachment parenting, cloth diapering part-time, breastfeeding, homeschooling, stay at home mama with two children, making family fun since 2006.
My family loves nature, camping and frequenting music festivals. I decided this would be a great place to keep track of where we have camped and jot down my thoughts on the campground. We like to try out new places, check out the surrounding area while we are there and they all start to blur together after awhile. All this information is located under Camping Reviews.
We have a garden and grow some of our own foods. Growing our own food is a new venture for us and I will share our progress and links to useful information. I already posted the planting zones map, because I can never find one when I need it!! So more on our garden to come in the future.
I love art and being an artist myself, I will share what I am working on or projects that were really fun. I enjoy drawing, painting, sewing and just plain crafting. I have my own studio in my house and really love spending time there creating. My space includes extra room for my children, they also love to create and it is a great outlet for everyone. I love to create and have my own shop on Etsy. You can check out my shop by clicking on Sacred Batik. I am also helping hearts with my art here on the blog. You can view these special drawings by clicking on Dear Departed Drawings.
When I graduated high school I traveled around and did a bunch of interesting things that I am afraid if I don't share them somewhere I will forget. So I will be telling stories of all my adventures and including photos when I can (back then we didn't have cell phones that had cameras built in).
From time to time I will share my most private feelings, things I feel should be shared with others. The subject of my posts may be controversial at times for certain people, so lets agree to disagree and avoid those posts if they offend you (that is a discreet suggestion). I don't like debates and do my best to avoid conversations containing opinions about politics (I do vote) and religion (I am spiritual). I enjoy helping others and I believe we all need more love and encouragement. I wish the best for everyone. I appreciate you reading this much about me, I am honored you made it to the bottom of the page.
Plant your feet and dig down deep.
